Asus has just announced new T1 monitors that come in sizes ranging from 22″ to 27″. They all feature a 1080p resolution (1980×1080) and their TV Tuner can decode DVB-T or Pal/Secam, making them suitable for many Asian and European countries. They have two 7-Watt speakers, a contrast ratio of 20000:1 and many inputs (2xHDMI, 2xSCART, VGA,
Composite, Components, S-Video, 3.5mm audio in+out, S-PDIF out). The monitors model names are: 22T1E, 24T1E and 27T1E.
3D is hot in the HDTV industry but what about consumer cameras? Fujifilm unveiled plans to release the world’s first consumer 3D stills camera as early as September. The principle is simple: the camera has two lenses to take two shots of the same scene with two slightly different angles , the picture can be printed on a special paper with a clear plastic overlay that acts like a lens or viewed on an
8-inch LCD photoframe that displays the two images separately to the left and the right eyes. The camera will be available for $600, the photoframe would cost a few hundred dollars and the prints a couple dollars each.In case you can see the video at work or whatever, the specs are as follows:
• 4-inch, 800×344 (21:9 aka Damn Wide) multi-touch screen
• Adobe Flash UI
• 5-megapixel camera (with flash!)
